The animated series adaptation of Taejun Pak’s original series that boasts over 9 billion views on the digital comic platform, debuts on Netflix.
Digital comics platform WEBTOON has announced an adaptation of their original series Lookism is now streaming on Netflix. This is the latest WEBTOON series adapted into animation and picked by the streamer, following All of Us Are Dead, Hellbound, The Sound of Magic, and Sweet Home.
Lookism, from creator Taejun Pak, boasts over 9 billion views globally on the WEBTOON platform. The original series, produced by Studio Mir (DOTA: Dragon's Blood and The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf), is available on the platform here.
The series follows Daniel, an unattractive loner who unexpectedly wakes up in a different body. Now tall, handsome, and cooler than ever in his new form, Daniel aims to achieve everything he couldn't before. But, how far will he go to keep his body... and his secrets?
