Relativity Media has hired Alex Tse (WATCHMEN) to write the reboot of THE CROW, reports ComingSoon.net. James O'Barr wrote the original comic on which the film will be based. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 WEEKS LATER) is the director.
Bradley Cooper is set to star as Eric Draven, a musician who, along with his wife, is slaughtered by a gang and comes back from the dead to avenge their murders.
Relativity, Edward R. Pressman Film Corp. and Apaches Ent. are the studios. Edward R. Pressman, Jeff Most, Relativity’s CEO Ryan Kavanaugh and Apaches' Enrique López Lavigne and Belén Atienza are the producers. Relativity's Tucker Tooley and Apaches' Jesus de la Vega are the exec producers. José Ibáñez and Pressman Film's Jon Katz are the co-producers.
