Watch: ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ TV Spot

Epic begets iconic at the historic Super Bowl; Harrison Ford stars as the legendary hero archaeologist in the fifth installment of the storied franchise, coming to theaters this June.

During Sunday’s historic Super Bowl LVII, Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny debuted an epic commercial for the newest chapter of the iconic franchise starring Harrison Ford as the legendary hero archaeologist.

The highly anticipated fifth installment opens in theaters on June 30, 2023, 42 years after the the franchise launched with 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The movie stars Ford alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag); Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory); John Rhys-Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark); Shaunette Renee Wilson (Black Panther); Thomas Kretschmann (Das Boot); Toby Jones (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom); Boyd Holbrook (Logan); Oliver Richters (Black Widow); Ethann Isidore (Mortel); and Mads Mikkelsen (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore).

Directed by James Mangold (Ford v Ferrari, Logan), the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, is once again composing the score.

The film’s visual effects are being produced by ILM (VFX Supervisor: Will Reichelt); Important Looking Pirates; Midas VFX; Soho VFX; and The Yard VFX (VFX Supervisor: Laurens Ehrmann). The production VFX Supervisor is Andrew Whitehurst.
