WATCH: Chimpanzombies Take Control in New ‘Wonder Park’ Official Trailer

Jennifer Garner, John Oliver and Kenan Thompson star in animated feature film about an amusement park where a young girl’s imagination comes alive.

Beware the chimpanzombies! Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies have just released a new trailer for their upcoming animated family adventure, Wonder Park, the story of a magnificent amusement park where the imagination of a wildly creative girl comes alive. That young girl, June (voiced by Brianna Denski), finds an incredible abandoned amusement park called Wonder Park filled with fantastical rides and funny, talking animals. June soon realizes that the park came from her imagination and that she is the only one who can save the magical place and revive the wonder, with the help of the animals, of course.

Coming to theatres March 15, 2019, the film stars Denski, Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Norbert Leo Butz and Ken Hudson Campbell.

The film’s original director, former Pixar animator Dylan Brown, was let go after complaints alleging inappropriate conduct were made against him. Several outlets note that he was replaced by David Feiss (Open Season: Scared Silly), but to date there has been no official announcement made by the studio. Actor Jeffrey Tambor was also originally tapped to voice to one of the film’s characters -- Boomer, a narcoleptic bear -- but he was replaced by Ken Hudson Campbell after sexual harassment complaints were made against him.

Wonder Park is produced by Josh Appelbaum (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), André Nemec (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), and Kendra Haaland (The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning) from a screenplay by Appelbaum and Nemec. Ilion Animation Studios in Spain is handling the film’s production.
