Written by and based on the memoir by animator Pamela Ribon (Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet) and directed by Sara Gunnarsdóttir, the film is a humorous autobiographical account of a young woman’s determination to lose her virginity, despite the pathetic pickings in the outskirts of Houston in the early 90s.
