VFX Veteran Joseph Bell Releases the ‘Visual Effects World Atlas’

This new, unprecedented, and comprehensive research report and overview of the artists who work in the global VFX industry, their skill sets, and where they’re located is now available as a free download.

Long frustrated by the shortage of clear, objective information about the VFX industry, Joseph Bell has created the “Visual Effects World Atlas,” an unprecedented, comprehensive research report and overview of the artists who work in the global visual effects industry — one vital to the creative endeavors of film studios, streamers, and branded content creators.

“Technology tends to grab a lot of headlines,” shared Bell. “The VFX business is fundamentally still driven by human talent. I wanted to chart the people of the visual effects industry, the skillsets they possess, and where in the world they’re located.”

Bell provides a unique voice in visual effects, combining 20 years of hands-on experience at some of the most respected studios in the field – including Industrial Light & Magic, The Mill, and FuseFX – with a global view of industry trends and business dynamics.

Bell is making the “Visual Effects World Atlas” available for free in the hope that his project will help foster a sense of global community among the VFX artists working around the world. Download the report here or at vfxatlas.com.
