‘Then & Now Track’ welcomes the visual effects pioneer, who will talk on ‘The Cinema of the Future;’ conference runs online May 4-6.

Then & Now Track - Doug Trumbull on “The Cinema of the Future”
The VFX pioneer will share his unique vision of the future of visual effects. Trumbull’s credits include special photographic effects supervisors for 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968); visual effects supervisor on Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977); Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979); and Blade Runner (1982). Each of these films earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects.
