DAY WATCH, the even more successful Russian sequel to NIGHT WATCH, debuts Oct. 30 on DVD in an unrated version (Fox Home Ent., $27.98). Set in a world where an age-old truce between the conflicted dark ones and light ones hangs in the balance among the unsuspecting humans, the action-packed fantasy thriller is once again directed by Timur Bekmambetov, based on the best-selling novels by Sergei Luyanenko.
With overall vfx supervision by Vlad Leschinski, the DAY WATCH Unrated Edition DVD includes the original theatrical Russian language version of the film, as well as an English language dub, along with "The Making of Day Watch" featurette, plus director commentary, original Russian trailers and more. In addition, Fox will also be releasing the DAY WATCH / NIGHT WATCH Two-Pack Collection for $34.98.
