UNBREAKABLE was simply unstoppable at the international box office this past week. In France, the UNBREAKABLE premiere grossed an amazing US$7.06 million. Five-week champ, DINOSAUR, slipped to second with a gross of $3.87 million, escalating its French cume to $22.92 million. In third, CHICKEN RUN cooped up another $3.58 million, flying its French cume to $8.84 million. At #6, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS drummed up only $1.67 million in its French debut. In its second week in France, POKEMON 2 collected $1.31 million, pushing its cume to $2.3 million. THE 6TH DAY dropped to 8th, with a gross of $1.16 million, raising its French cume to $2.8 million. In ninth, THE GRINCH grabbed an additional $842,462, advancing its French cume to $3.96 million. In the U.K., UNBREAKABLE claimed the top spot in its debut, grossing $5.89 million. At #3, 102 DALMATIANS collared $3.43 million, bringing its U.K. cume to $8.54 million. In fourth, THE GRINCH snatched up another $2.34 million, bringing its U.K. cume to $19.61 million. CHARLIE'S ANGELS kicked in an additional $853,087 in sixth, growing its U.K. cume to $17.81 million. POKEMON 2000 secured $761,153 in cash, lifting its U.K. cume to $1.72 million. In eighth, THE 6TH DAY added $760,299 to its $2.51 million U.K. cume. UNBREAKABLE also topped the charts in Germany, with a $5.36 million debut. POKEMON 2000 fell from first to third, grossing $1.7 million, thus raising its German cume to $5.13 million. In fourth, THE 6TH DAY cloned another $1.21 million, growing its cume to $6.03 million. DINOSAUR stomped around in 6th, pulling in an additional $1.06 million and bringing its German cume to $13.33 million. In 7th, Disney's reissue of THE JUNGLE BOOK garnered another $1.01 million, pushing its German cume to $2.4 million. At #8, CHARLIE'S ANGELS took home $994,575, advancing its German cume to $10.47 million. Rounding out the top ten, THE GRINCH added $580,581 to its $9.01 million German cume. In Italy, UNBREAKABLE dropped a scant 3% to finish in third, grossing $2.49 million, thereby elevating its cume to $5.04 million. In fifth, WHAT LIES BENEATH seduced another $2.13 million, growing its Italian cume to $6.4 million. DINOSAUR gobbled tickets to the tune of $835,336 in seventh, raising its Italian cume to $2.19 million. In eighth, CHICKEN RUN roosted $835,336, lifting its Italian cume to $2.71 million. Finishing off the Italian top ten, POKEMON 2000 added $541,144 to its $1.22 million cume. After two-weeks in Hong Kong, UNBREAKABLE finished fourth with a gross of $353,392, bringing its cume to $1.05 million. In fifth, THE GRINCH stole another $346,293 to raise its Hong Kong cume to $966,202. At #6, LITTLE NICKY possessed $220,622 in a lackluster Hong Kong premiere.
