Toon Boom Animation and Toon Goggles Launch Boom Goggles

Toon Boom Animation and online kids channel Toon Goggles announce the development of applications that will enable kids to create and netcast their animations.

Montreal  –

Emmy Award-winning Toon Boom Animation and online kids channel Toon Goggles announced their new collaboration on the development of applications that will enable kids to create and netcast their animations. Toon Goggles will create a new area on its web site called Boom Goggles, which will feature animations powered solely by Toon Boom products.

"Collaborating with Toon Goggles is a natural move for Toon Boom, considering our keen interest in providing more services to our online community. It gives all animation fans a wonderful opportunity to shine and for their work to reach a wider audience," said Joan Vogelesang, President and Chief Executive Officer at Toon Boom.

"Toon Goggles is excited about our new partnership with Toon Boom,” said Stephen Hodge, Managing Director, Toon Goggles. “We believe that Boom Goggles has the potential to become a brand in itself and offers up a whole new method in which new hit cartoons can be discovered and children can express themselves through animation and share amongst peers worldwide and across multiple platforms and OTT devices."

In addition, Toon Boom will incorporate an Export to Boom Goggles capability in its consumer line of products, beginning with Flip Boom Cartoon. Meanwhile, Toon Boom is calling upon all its users to upload their animations to the Boom Goggles site in order to take advantage of the great exposure this new platform will bring them. Simply sign up as a Right Holder, go the My Shows page and click on Start Here to publish your content.
