The ‘Six’ duo will write the songs, alongside Isabella Summers (The Machine of Florence & the Machine), who will write the score and produce the songs, for the Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Locksmith Animation film about a badass gang of fairies who break every rule in the book; release set for July 23, 2027.
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Locksmith Animation have announced that Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, co-creators of the Tony Award-winning musical, “Six”, will pen the songs for Locksmith Animation’s original animated musical Bad Fairies. Grammy-nominated composer Isabella Summers (aka The Machine of Florence & the Machine) will write the score and produce the songs.
“Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Locksmith Animation are excited to welcome this extraordinary dream team of musical talents, Toby Marlow, Lucy Moss and Isabella Summers into our Bad Fairies family,” said Bill Damaschke, President of Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Mary Coleman, Chief Creative Officer of Locksmith Animation. “Together they will bring vibrant and unforgettable dimension to the story, and we cannot wait to share it with audiences around the world in 2027.”
Bad Fairies is a subversive musical comedy set in contemporary London that follows a badass gang of fairies who break every rule in the book. Megan Nicole Dong (Centaurworld) directs from a script by Deborah Frances-White, creator and host of popular podcast “The Guilty Feminist.”

Williams (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Nimona), character designer Uwe Heidschötter (The Little Boy and the Beast, That Christmas), and heads of story Rikke Asbjoern and Chris Garbutt (We Lost Our Human, Pinky Malinky).
The film will be the first released under the first-look deal between Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Locksmith Animation. The film is currently in production in London with DNEG Animation signed on as a digital partner.
Bad Fairies is slated to release July 23, 2027.
