Toei Animation Secures Master Licensing Deal in Brazil for Dragon Ball

Toei Animation has closed a master licensing and merchandising agreement in Brazil with Abr-Art Bag Rio Comercio Importacao e Exportacao for Dragon Ball Z that encompasses a number of key consumer product categories.

Los Angeles – Toei Animation has closed a master licensing and merchandising agreement in Brazil with Abr-Art Bag Rio Comercio Importacao e Exportacao for Dragon Ball Z that encompasses a number of key consumer product categories, it was announced by Kenji Ebato, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Toei Animation Inc.

Toei’s wide-ranging deal with the noted Brazilian manufacturer includes polyester backpacks, pencil cases, lunch bags and aprons for children. 

The latest deal in Brazil reflect Toei Animation’s latest licensing activities in Latin America, which has emerged as a top region for the company’s globally renowned brands.

“Abr-Art ranks among the top manufacturers in the important Brazilian market and we are pleased to forge an alliance with the company on behalf of Dragon Ball.  Locally produced products is important in order to maximize success in Brazil, however we are also focused on manufacturing quality products – and this is why we are excited to team with Abr-Art,” said Ebato.
