Tis the Season: The Animation Guild Launches Virtual Holiday Market

Support the talented pros behind top animated shows and films while finding the perfect gift; the 4th annual event is now live.

Tis the season! Time to find that perfect gift for that special someone, so look no further! The Animation Guild (TAG) has launched its 4th Annual Virtual Holiday Market running through December 18. The marketplace features unique and memorable gifts from the multi-talented pros behind popular animated TV shows and films.

“This is the fourth year for the craft market, and it's wonderful to see our Local 839 creators and craftspeople continue this fun, community-building tradition even though we can't get back to in- person events just yet,” shared TAG member and market organizer Ashley Long. “As always, there's a great variety of works to discover.”

Shoppers will find artwork; children’s books; toys; plants; t-shirts; fine jewelry; ceramics; stickers; candles; and more. This a great way to “shop local” and support independent artists:

  • Victoria Orolfo is a visual development and concept artist currently working as a background artist at Netflix. She creates enamel pins, embroidered patches, and other works based on Solarpunk, an art movement that envisions a futuristic world in harmony with the environment. Her creations can be found at her Victoria Orolfo Shop on Etsy.

  • Colleen McAllister is an animation writer at Nickelodeon with credits at Netflix, DreamWorks, and Disney. She creates abstract artwork using an unusual source: her grandfather’s microbiology slides from the 1970s. Her prints include experimental works such as a form of pneumonia in the style of Andy Warhol’s famous pop art and can be found at her Etsy shop, The Abstract Biologist.

  • Onesimus Neurnberger has worked on shows like Captain America: Civil War and Trolls: World Tour and is currently working as a matte painter at DreamWorks Animation. Outside the industry he creates charming artwork for LaCorgi, where he sells prints, greeting cards, stickers, and apparel inspired by his pet corgi Georgi.

Check out these and other artists for the perfect gift. Show NOW!
