Tippett Launches Creature Shop App

VFX company Tippett forms a partnership with visual technology group Pixelux Entertainment to supply and license Hollywood-style original and creature animations for the Efexio special effects marketplace with the creation of an exclusive “Tippett Creature Shop,” featuring downloadable quality animations of creatures.

NEW YORK –

Visual effects company Tippett Studio announced that it has formed a partnership with visual technology group Pixelux Entertainment to supply and license Hollywood-style original and creature animations for the Efexio special effects marketplace.

In addition, Efexio announced the creation of an exclusive “Tippett Creature Shop” within the Efexio marketplace, featuring downloadable, quality animations of creatures including dinosaurs, penguins, robots, dragons, fairies and monsters.

The marketplace is accessed through an app that allows users to upload their own photos or video footage, choose an effect created by Hollywood special effects artists and easily create a fully rendered movie or photo that can be saved and shared on Instagram or shared immediately via Facebook, YouTube or email.  The one-of-a-kind Efexio app allows users to rotate and adjust the scale of each effect, change the lighting and camera angle and make other adjustments by using a series of intuitive tools.

Available for iPad, iPhone, Mac & Windows PC, the Efexio app is free to download and includes a free effect.  Standard animations are priced between $0.99 and $1.99; Pro versions, for users who wish to output at full HD resolution, are priced at $4.99 and $9.99. Starting in July, Efexio will release a new free effect every month.
