Tinman Creates '140 Character Films' for McDonald’s

Toronto-based Tinman Creative Studios wraps the ambitious “140 Character Films” interactive campaign for McDonald’s Canada and agency Tribal DDB.

Toronto-based Tinman Creative Studios just wrapped the ambitious “140 Character Films” campaign for McDonald’s Canada and agency Tribal DDB.

Their mighty task called on them to create short films based on viewer submitted 140-character movie ideas featuring the McDonald’s cast of characters. The end result: 12 hilarious spots, two being produced every 48 hours, over the course of 12 days. Each spot was created frame by frame in Flash, with found object art produced in Photoshop and After Effects.

Check out buddy cop comedy “McD P.D.” and the post-apocalyptic “Rise of the Zombie Fries” below, and watch all 12 of the films here.
