The deadline for submissions to the 2015 edition of the Tehran International Animation Festival is December 1, 2014.
TEHRAN -- The Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults has issued a call for entries for the ninth edition of the Tehran International Animation Festival.
The Institute is an Iranian cultural organization that has produced over 400 short and feature films. The festival provides an opportunity for artists to exchange ideas, as well as to discover and encourage young animators to innovate and create while developing their abilities through new techniques and perspectives.
The festival is categorized in four sections: Competition, Non-Competitive, Special Screening and Panorama. The International Competition is open to foreign films produced after 2010 which have not participated in previous editions of the festival. An international jury consisting of at least five artists and specialists will judge the entries. Prizes include awards for Best Animation, Best Student Animation and Best Advertising Animation.
