Teen Titans Premiere Sets Cartoon Net Records

Cartoon Networks premiere telecast of TEEN TITANS on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 9:00 pm earned the cable network record ratings. The program stands as the most-watched Cartoon Network premiere ever with boys 6-11. Additionally, the Sunday replay at 10:00 pm ranked as the most-watched program in its timeslot on ad-supported basic cable with kids 6-11, kids 2-11, boys 6-11 and boys 2-11.

Cartoon Networks Adult Swim continued increasing its ratings. Versus the same time period last year, the three-hour block (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm-2:00 am) delivered 359,000 adults 18-34 and a 0.6 rating, up 45% and 50% respectively. The block had a big 77% increase with men 18-34 delivering 243,000 with ratings of 0.8, double that of the previous year. Moreover, men 18-24 delivery (133,000) increased 77% and ratings (1.0) by 67%. Cartoon Network continued its primetime winning streak to six consecutive weeks at #1 with kids 6-11.
