MUNICH -- Studio 100 Media has signed a new deal with Czech Republic network Ceska televize. The public broadcaster has secured the FTA rights of approximately 200 half hours of children’s programming including the CGI series Vic the Viking, which is already airing successfully in 100 countries around the globe. Other titles include highlights from Studio 100 Media’s extensive library such as the classic series Maya the Bee.
“We are happy to expand our collaboration with Ceska televize with our well-known animation brands,” comments Martin Krieger, Head of Global Distribution at Studio 100 Media. “We believe that they will be just as popular on Czech Free TV as they have proved to be in other territories and that children will enjoy the opportunity to follow the wonderful adventures of Vic the Viking, Molly Monster, Big & Small, Maya the Bee and Knietzsche.”
