Heat Vision reports that Kristen Stewart and Viggo Mortensen are up for the title characters in Universal's SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN. They would join Charlize Theron, who is in talks to play the evil queen.
Rupert Sanders is making his feature directing debut on the film. Joe Roth is the producer.
In this version of the fairy tale, when the huntsman takes Snow White out into the woods to kill her at the command of the evil queen, he doesn't just leave her there, but stays with her to train her to defend herself.
