Steve Hendricks has joined leading post-production boutique Post Logic Studios as president/ceo. With state-of-the-art facilities in Hollywood and New York, Post Logic has distinguished itself as a leader in digital intermediate and feature film restoration, and continues to expand into new and emerging arenas within the post-production realm. Hendricks brings a wealth of domestic and international experience into the company, and will oversee day-to-day business operations as well as expansion opportunities.

"The industry is primed for some innovative changes, and who better to partner with than the talented executive and creative teams at Post Logic Studios, commented Hendricks. Post Logic is one of the few independent companies in this space, and its commitment to high quality and service is reflected in the loyalty of its esteemed client base. Over the past four years, my work as a consultant has given me a unique window into future opportunities in this industry, and with services such as digital intermediate blossoming, I can't think of a better time to jump back into the post-production business."

Hendricks is coming into Post Logic Studios at a stimulating growth period for the company. Digital intermediate (DI) operations are thriving at Post Logic Cinema Digital in Hollywood, with an impressive slate of recent DI credits, including HOTEL RWANDA. Film restoration is also a fast-growing part of Post Logics business, and the company plans to invest in and expand its restoration pipeline significantly in the near term. The recently opened Post Logic Studios New York City continues to flourish with digital mastering and film restoration projects from studios and clients, including Miramax, Criterion, VOOM and others.

Bringing Steve on board marks an exciting new era for Post Logic Studios, added evp Larry Birstock. With his varied background, he brings invaluable experience to Post Logic and the team and I look forward to working together with Steve to create new models in meeting the rapidly evolving creative and technical needs of our clients.

Steve Hendricks joins Post Logic Studios with more than two decades invested in the post-production business. As president/ceo of Virgin Digital Studios (VDS), an entertainment arm of Richard Branson's Virgin Group Ltd., Hendricks built and oversaw operations of television and film post-production studios in Los Angeles, London, New York, Vancouver and Mexico City. A former engineer and editor, Hendricks and U.K. editor Kelvin Duckett first partnered with Virgin in 1987 to create 525 Studios, Hollywood, California. In 1992, Branson appointed Hendricks chief executive of Virgin Television Ltd., with the mandate to expand the company internationally. All of the VDS companies achieved recognition as market leaders in their respective locations, receiving numerous entertainment industry awards for innovative effects work in commercials, feature film trailers and music videos. In May of 2000, Hendricks was instrumental in initiating and consummating the sale of VDS to John Malone's Liberty Media group. More recently, Hendricks has consulted for various enterprises in Los Angeles, New York and the Bay Area.

Post Logic Studios (www.postlogic.com) has been a mainstay in high-end post-production for more than 10 years. The company provides digital mastering, post-production, visual effects and audio postproduction services to feature film, commercial and television clients from its flagship Hollywood facility and Manhattan-based satellite, Post Logic Studios N.Y.C.
