Sternworld Creative Management Opens As New Rep Firm

Sternworld Creative Management, a new management firm described by its founder as the "William Morris" of creative services," has opened in Venice, California to represents a broad array of clients, including entertainment marketing, advertising, promotion and design firms. Sternworld also represents international marketing specialists, music composers and producers, and a visual effects and specialty production company.

Stern has managed 20-some launches or re-launches of television networks, TV stations, satellite systems and/or cable channels, around the world. Through Sternworld Creative Management, she is now able to match clients with the right creative talent for their projects. From 1999-2002, Stern was the president and founder of Lab903, a motion graphics design firm in Santa Monica. While with Lab903, Stern put her extensive experience in broadcast design and her unique approach to client service to work for a range of clients, including Columbia Tri-Star Television, TBS, Oxygen, the daypart re-design of HGTV, the launch of TV Works (a new channel in Singapore) and the launch of Univision's new domestic network, Telefutura.Previously Stern was a sr. exec producer with branding solutions and design firm Pittard Sullivan, utilizing her acknowledged expertise in network/channel packages in both the international and domestic arenas. Her major clients included SKY Latin America, Discovery Kids/Latin American, Universal, Saban, Columbia Tri-Star International, Paramount and Warner Bros. She also managed show packages and main title projects for a number of well-known television production companies, including John Wells, KingWorld and Carsey Werner.

Before working for Pittard Sullivan, Stern was director of accounts for Novocom from 1993-96, where she supervised domestic and international accounts. Stern oversaw the firm's London and Singapore offices and managed accounts in the Far East, Europe and Latin America. Some of the launch and re-launch efforts Stern guided during her tenure with Novocom included BSKYB, STAR, and projects for the World Cup, as well as CBS Evening News, Wharf Cable in Hong Kong, and SBC, Singapore, in addition to a number of show packages for NBC News. Stern was also responsible for Novocom's overall global sales and marketing strategies.

Earlier in her career, Stern also had a successful run as a line producer, working on commercials, music videos, film trailers and feature films.
