Stalins Elevated To SVP, MGM International Television Distribution

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer has promoted Carolyn Stalins to svp, international television distribution, overseeing distribution in the important French and U.K. markets for MGM's features and TV series and NBC Studios' TV series, as well as the catalogues of MGM/UA, Orion, Polygram and NBC.

"For more than 10 years, Carolyn has been an integral part of our team and has greatly contributed to our success and growth," said Simon Sutton, evp, international television distribution. "She is an outstanding executive who has continually proven herself in country after country." Stalins will continue to report to Gilberte DeTurenne, svp/md, Europe.

Stalins joined MGM's International Television Distribution division in 1993, working in the Paris office and relocated to London in 1998. Stalins has handled distribution in Spain, Portugal, Ireland, The Netherlands, Scandinavia, Finland, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Cyprus. She began her entertainment career with Gaumont Television, working in the French company's international co-production department.

MGM Worldwide TV Dist. handles global distribution of film and television product as well as co-productions for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. Through this distribution unit, about 4,000 feature films and 10,100 television episodes are available to the global television market.
