PEOPLE, among other online publications, has posted screen shots from Britney Spears' new video for single BREAK THE ICE.
The animated video shows an anime Spears as a futuristic superhero in a bodysuit.
According to UK paper THE SUN, the animation was Spears' idea.
However, gossip site GAWKER conjectures that "more likely the record company remembered how difficult Spears can be at a photo shoot and realized she'd been to the psychiatric wing of the hospital twice in the first two months of the year, and decided to just hire some animators in Asia and be done with it."
