South Park fans, get ready for an incredible experience. The Paley Center for Media has teamed up with Comedy Central to present the “South Park 20 Experience,” opening in Los Angeles today, August 24, and running through September 25.
This life-size 2D/3D experience features 20 memorable moments from South Park’s history and allows fans to explore and insert themselves into the iconic moments for a once-in-a-lifetime photo op.
In addition to the 20 iconic life-size moments, the experience also includes an art exhibit featuring 20 unique artists who were chosen to honor and celebrate South Park's landmark season with original art pieces that has been curated by world-renowned pop-culture artist Ron English. Fans can also visit a retrospective gallery featuring original animation cells from the pilot episode.
Visitors can watch free daily screenings of select episodes from the first nineteen seasons of the series, specially chosen for this exhibit, free on the big screen. All 20 seasons of the series will be added to the Paley Center’s already extensive public Archive.
The event is open to the public and free to attend, and requires no advance ticketing.
