Series creator Gary Janetti (‘Family Guy’) announces the ‘Game of Thrones’ star’s addition to his A-List cast on the upcoming satirical comedy series based on the British royal family.

Once a royal, always a royal! Game of Thrones darling Sophie Turner will hoist a crown once again as five-year-old Princess Charlotte in the upcoming HBO Max animated comedy The Prince. Series creator Gary Janetti (Family Guy, Will & Grace) is no stranger to the British royal family, often posting satirical “Prince George” content on his popular Instagram account. He will be further elevating his digital hobby to mainstream entertainment as the voice of seven-year-old George in the upcoming series. Keeping with his love of Instagram, Janetti recently turned to the platform for his Turner casting reveal:

The show will follow Janetti’s beloved and cheeky rendition of little George. According to The Hollywood ReporterThe Prince "will see George finding his path in life as a young prince in modern times - from the 775 rooms of Buckingham Palace to his family's sea of corgis to primary school with commoners." Prince George may be stealing the spotlight, but he will be joined by an A-List ensemble. Alongside Turner and Janetti are:  Alan Cumming (GoldenEye, X2) as George's butler Owen, Orlando Bloom (Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribbean) as Prince Harry, Condola Rashad (Billions) as Meghan Markle, fellow Thrones star Iwan Rheon as Prince William, and Lucy Punch (Into the Woods, A Series of Unfortunate Events) as Kate Middleton.

No release date has been set, but with a cast like this, what could go wrong?
