Sony Pictures unveiled a peek at its forthcoming summer’s tentpole, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for those attending Wednesday night’s festivities in New York’s Times Square.
The new clip, which is introduced by the legendary Stan Lee, features Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) battling Electro (Jamie Foxx) in Times Square during, get this, New Year’s Eve.

Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on May 2. Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field, Felicity Jones, and Chris Cooper also star.
