Sony Pictures Entertainment has shared a trailer, vignette, and first-look image teasing its latest Marvel superhero thriller, Madame Web, heading to theaters February 14, 2024. Produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel, the suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb.
"Meanwhile, in another universe..." In a switch from the typical superhero genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing's most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller follows Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures... if they can all survive a deadly present.
Johnson leads the cast alongside Sydney Sweeney; Celeste O’Connor; Isabela Merced; Tahar Rahim; Mike Epps; Emma Roberts; and Adam Scott.

Based on Marvel Comics, the film is directed by Clarkson, from a screenplay by Clarkson and Claire Parker, and based on a story by Kreem Sanga. It’s produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, with executive producers Adam Merims and Parker. Visual effects companies on the project include beloFX, Day for Night, Digital Domain, One of Us, and Outpost VFX.
