John Singleton has confirmed rumors that he will helm the screen adaptation of '80s hit TV series THE A-TEAM, reports BlackVoices.com.
Running from 1983 to 1987, the series that made Mr. T a household name chronicled a foursome of wrongly convicted Vietnam vets who escaped from prison to work in Los Angeles as soldiers of fortune. The silver screen adaptation will contemporize the setting.
Series creator Stephen J. Cannell is producing alongside Spike Seldin. Mark Silvestri is exec producer.
