MGM has tapped David Silverman (THE SIMPSONS MOVIE) to direct its adaptation of Jarrett Krosoczka's book series PUNK FARM, reports Variety. Prana Animation Studios will animate the CG film. The story follows five farm animals that make up an underground band.
Jim Hecht (ICE AGE: THE MELTDOWN) penned the script and David Stern (HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA) is doing a new draft. Kevin Messick and Arish Fyzee are the producers alongside exec producers Anita Camarata and Kristin Dornig.
