Kevin Smiths hometown of Red Bank will host the 5th Annual Red Bank International film Festival. The event showcases any type of film. Presented by the Freedom Film Society, the programming for RBIFF 2005 will, as in past years, hail from around the world and include a diverse spectrum of genres and themes. Previous festivals have included works from such contemporaries as Bill Plympton, Fernando Meirelles, Su Friedrich, Sarah Kernochan, Matthew Barney, Signe Baumane, and Jehane Noujaim.
