Season Two of ‘Sanjay and Craig’ Begins July 19

Season two of Nickelodeon’s Emmy-nominated animated series ‘Sanjay and Craig’ begins this Saturday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT) with the new episode “Hot Sauce Boss”/”Ghost Pool.”

Season two of Nickelodeon’s Emmy-nominated animated series Sanjay and Craig begins this Saturday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT)  with the new episode “Hot Sauce Boss”/”Ghost Pool.” In “Hot Sauce Boss,” when Chicken Chuck adds his own sauce to Penny’s hot wings, a heated competition erupts between the longtime friends. Then in “Ghost Pool,” the kids go on a quest to find a legendary pool in the forest.

The second season of the hit animated series will feature guest star Snoop Dogg, and a Halloween-themed special. Sanjay and Craig was recently nominated for a 2014 Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing. Year-to-date, new episode premieres average a 4.9/1.6M with Kids 2-11 and 3 million total viewers. It is also the #2 animated show across all TV with Kids 2-11, behind SpongeBob SquarePants

Fans can head to Nick.com to play 15 mini-games as part of The Frycade including Aztec Kicker, Tufflips Thumbs Up Karate, Ice Cream Famine, Chicken Wing Sushi Pirate among others. Additionally, Sanjay and Craig is available on Nick.com and the Nick App the day after air and for purchase on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, Xbox Video and Playstation Store.

Sanjay and Craig was created by Jim Dirschberger, Jay Howell and Andreas Trolf. The second season is co-executive produced by Dirschberger and Howell, with Chris Viscardi and Will McRobb as executive producers. The series features the voice talents of Maulik Pancholy and Chris Hardwick in the lead roles as Sanjay and Craig, respectively, with additional cast members that include: Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks) as Megan; Matt Jones (Breaking Bad) as Hector; Tony Hale (Veep, Arrested Development) as Mr. Noodman; Grey Griffin (The Fairly OddParents) as Darlene and Sandy Dickson; and Remington Tufflips as himself.
