The main ‘RWBY’ voice cast returns for the franchise’s latest effort, a new series that takes place in the world of Remnant, where science and fairy tales coexist, premiering in the U.S. September 25.
The English dub release of RWBY: Ice Queendom, the anime series adapted from Rooster Teeth’s global hit, RWBY, premieres on September 25 for U.S. audiences on Rooster Teeth FIRST, followed by Crunchyroll. New episodes will release weekly.

RWBY: Ice Queendom presents a new RWBY story with beautiful 2D anime visuals. As described on Rooster Teeth, the series takes place “in the world of Remnant, a land where science and fairy tales coexist, and human civilization is plagued by deadly monsters known as the Grimm. For a time, victory by the Grimm seemed all but certain, if not for the heroism of those sworn to protect humanity -- Huntsmen and Huntresses. These warriors are trained and assembled into teams at schools like Beacon Academy, where Ruby meets Weiss and Blake -- forming Team RWBY along with Ruby's sister, Yang. While team RWBY studies to become the greatest Huntresses the world of Remnant has ever known, they are faced with a horrifying threat.”
From creator Monty Oum (Red vs. Blue), RWBY is one of Rooster Teeth’s most beloved, viewed, and shared series. As the first western-produced anime series to be distributed in Japan, RWBY episodes have accumulated more than 300 million views since the series premiered in 2013.
The core creative team behind RWBY: Ice Queendom includes Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero); Tow Ubukata (Mardock Scramble, Tenchi: The Samurai Astronomer, Fafner in the Azure); huke (Black Rock Shooter, chitocerium, Steins;Gate); and Toshimasa Suzuki (Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne, Fafner in the Azure: Heaven and Earth), with additional collaboration from Rooster Teeth’s Kerry Shawcross, Eddy Rivas, and Erin Winn.
