Sam Rockwell has joined the cast of COWBOYS AND ALIENS, reports HEAT VISION. Rockwell will play Doc, the bar owner. He joins Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde and Harrison Ford.
Based on Platinum Studios' graphic novel, the story follows a truce between settlers and Indians when they must face a common enemy in invading aliens.
Jon Favreau is directing from a script by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof. Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg are the producers. Filming will start in June.
