Robin Joseph’s ‘Fox and The Whale’ to Screen in LA July 21-27

A visually arresting tale of pursuit and longing, the independently produced 12-minute short film won the award for Best Environments at VIEW 2016.

Fresh off its festival run, Toronto-based independent animation director Robin Joseph‘s 2016 short, Fox and The Whale, will have a limited theatrical run in Los Angeles at Laemmle Theatres Playhouse 7 in Pasadena.

A visually arresting tale of pursuit and longing, the independently produced Fox and The Whale follows a curious fox who goes in search of an elusive whale. The 12-minute short film, which received the award for Best Environments at VIEW 2016, is playing for one week, beginning July 21 through July 27. Tickets are available here on the Laemmle Playhouse website.

Fox and The Whale was directed and produced by Joseph, who was also responsible for the overall design of the film as well as storyboards, backgrounds, 2D animation, VFX, compositing, editing and sound design. Character animation, modeling and rigging was completed by Kim Leow. The character rig for the fox was designed by Louis Vottero, and the music for the film was completed John Poon.
