Raid Projects Needs Artist In Residency

Raid Projects is looking for an artist to fill the September, October and November Artist In Residency space. Previously approved artists will get priority, but all artists are encouraged to apply.

For periods of three or six months residents are provided with living accommodations, a studio and during the last month of their stay a well-publicized solo exhibition. During the residency Raid facilitates residents to establish working professional links in the L.A. art world and to bring curators, critics and collectors to see the solo show privately.

AIR's resident artists are predominantly international, but it also hosts U.S. artists whose projects are suitable to a L.A. residency. The residency fee is $1,400 per month. As this program has a proven track record, Raid can facilitate artist's funding applications in their own countries, in tandem with their counties L.A.-based consulate representatives. Upon acceptance into the program, it is up to the artist to secure their space by providing a non-refundable deposit of the first months rent ($1,400).

To apply for Raid Artist In Residence program: AIR has no application form or deadline.
