COVID-19 forces another delay in Lisbon’s annual animation event, now scheduled to run July 21 to August 1, 2021.
Since 2000, MONSTRA - Lisbon Animation Festival’s main goals have been to promote encounters between people with different artistic backgrounds by using the most basic and multidisciplinary language known, the one of animation cinema. The festival, already considered a distinct event in Lisbon’s cultural scene, seeks to continue its reach to the international community while extending its presence throughout Portugal.
Due to the continuing COVID-19 crisis, the Lisbon Animation Festival - MONSTRA has been postponed. The new event dates are July 21-August 1, 2021.
