Proof Details Plans for FMX 2015

Proof Inc. creative director and founder Ron Frankel to present inside look at previs and postvis work from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’ during 2015 FMX conference in Germany.

Los Angeles, CA -- Ron Frankel, creative director & founder of visualization house Proof Inc., is set to present a session entitled “All About the Viz - Recent Work and Developments from Proof,” on May 7, from 2-3 PM, during the 2015 FMX Conference in Germany.

Frankel will demonstrate the latest and greatest work from the talented artists at Proof. From the inter-galactic previs and postvis animations of Guardians of the Galaxy to the comedic digital stylings of Night at the Museum: The Secret of the Tomb, Frankel will offer attendees a sneak peek into the inner workings of the pre and post vis industry. He may also surprise attendees with a special insider’s glimpse into one of this year’s biggest “making of” stories.

Considered Europe’s most influential conference for digital entertainment, FMX 2015, which will be held May 5-8 in Stuttgart, Germany, is an annual, international conference on Animation, Visual Effects, Games and Transmedia. This year’s conference will showcase how virtual realities and immersive technologies are revolutionizing production, storytelling and content viewing. Pioneers and innovators from all branches of the industry will discuss the latest trends.

Ron Frankel founded Proof, Inc. in 2002, using previs to problem solve large-scale architectural installations, help create immersive environments and aid in the design and planning for virtual reality productions. Recent collaborators include David Yates, Joe Wright, James Gunn, James Wan, and Justin Lin. Frankel is a founding member of the Previsualization Society, the Virtual Production Committee and 5D: The Future of Immersive Design, and is a Lecturer at the UCLA School of Architecture and Urban Design where he teaches a course on visualization.

Proof's other recent projects have included Furious 7, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Man of Steel, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Hunger Games. Upcoming projects include Pan, Tarzan 3D, San Andreas: 3D and Gods of Egypt.
