Prologue Creates Creepy Stop Motion Titles for ‘AHS: Freak Show’

Last week the internet was all abuzz when American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy released the creepy new title sequence for season four of the FX series on Twitter.

Differing from previous seasons of the popular show, the credits are all stop-motion animation and give the AHS theme music a slight circus twist. The new title sequence for American Horror Story: Freak Show delighted fans and critics alike, offering up clues as to what the new season will bring.

The titles were created at Venice, CA-based creative studio Prologue Films by the company’s founder, Kyle Cooper, who also created the opening sequences for David Fincher’s 1995 film Se7en and AMC series The Walking Dead.
