A 12-episode sophomore season of the highly anticipated adult animated fantasy-adventure series, based on stories and characters developed by Critical Role, hits the streamer in January.
Prime Video released the official trailer, episodic images (below), and premiere date for the highly anticipated 12-episode second season of The Legend of Vox Machina, the animated series from Critical Role and Titmouse. Season 2 kicks off January 20, with three episodes premiering each week – debuting across 240+ countries and territories worldwide. The always engaging, often hilarious first season received a “Certified Fresh” ranking on Rotten Tomatoes, with a score of 100%.
About The Legend of Vox Machina:
After saving the realm from evil and destruction at the hands of the most terrifying power couple in Exandria, Vox Machina is faced with saving the world once again—this time, from a sinister group of dragons known as the Chroma Conclave.
Based on the adventures and characters developed by Critical Role, the story-driven, world-building digital media brand, the series falls under a content agreement that builds on Critical Role's long-standing engagement with Amazon’s live-streaming service, Twitch - which has broadcast its live role-playing show since 2015.

The Legend of Vox Machina is an Amazon Studios, Critical Role, and Titmouse production for Prime Video. The series stars Critical Role founders and cast members Laura Bailey (The Last of Us: Part II), Taliesin Jaffe (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us), Liam O’Brien (Star Wars: The Bad Batch), Matthew Mercer (Overwatch), Marisha Ray (Final Fantasy XV: Comrades), Sam Riegel (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and Travis Willingham (Marvel's Avengers).
