BETHESDA, MD -- The recently launched Interactive Division of award-winning digital animation and broadcast design studio Pixeldust Studios has just delivered its first three high-profile projects, including the design, development and launch of the website for the 2015 NBCUniversal Short Film Festival and new interactive websites for grassroots organization Population Connection and Red Rocks Films.

Pixeldust’s Interactive Division specializes in a broad spectrum of services, including responsive website development, logo design and branding, interactive widgets, E-commerce sites, app design, infographics, video content, content platforms, social media, and mobile apps. Currently, Pixeldust has a number of upcoming new projects in development, including design for a special interactive exhibit for the Smithsonian.

“We are delighted with the success that our new Interactive Division has achieved within such a short window of time,” said Pixeldust founders Ricardo and Elizabeth Andrade in making the announcement. “Our first three delivered projects are a great start to many more such interactive projects yet to come. Our Interactive Division is also presently active in research and development on upcoming Virtual Reality (VR) content using Oculus Rift, as well as on the next generation of online educational games and mobile apps.”

“Our passion is in visual design for all media,” added Pixeldust executive producer Lori Butterfield. “We now have the proven ability to launch fast, content-driven websites without compromising design. We can also build mobile apps or partner with established in-house mobile and web teams, to deliver any initiative in record time.”

Pixeldust has a number of projects in active development, including work on an upcoming special exhibit on the History of the Incas to be presented by the Smithsonian’s American Indian Museum.  Pixeldust is designing and developing an interactive website and unique online games associated with the exhibit.

Also upcoming, Pixeldust is designing and developing a new website for client Michael Hoff Productions, one of America’s premier creators of factual programming, ranging from wildlife and technology, to crime and the paranormal. The company’s content has been featured on Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet, History Channel, Investigation Discovery, PBS, and many other top cable channels.

Pixeldust Studios’ Interactive Division is also actively involved in research and development on the creation of new VR content for various clients. The new VR content is being developed in conjunction with Oculus Rift technology.
