Pete Docter, one of Pixar’s leading talents, has a new movie in the works -- Inside Out -- about which little is known, except that it will be “told from the perspective of the emotions inside the mind of a little girl.”

Previously known as The Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside the Mind, this newest project from Docter, who directed Monsters Inc. and Up and wrote those movies as well as the first two Toy Story pictures, has been kept firmly under wraps.

Rumors of a June 2015 release date surfaced in February, along with a title and synopsis, but now, according to a report by Yahoo! Movies’ Movie Talk blog, the animated feature has finally received official confirmation from Disney via a post on Twitter:

“We have an announcement! ‘Inside Out,’ the new film from director Pete Docter, will open in US theaters June 19, 2015,” the tweet said.

While that tweet doesn’t say anything about the storyline for Inside Out, the synopsis, made public in February, is below:

“Pixar takes audiences on incredible journeys into extraordinary worlds: from the darkest depths of the ocean to the top of the tepui mountains in South America; from the fictional metropolis of Monstropolis to a futuristic fantasy of outer space. From director Pete Docter ( Up, Monsters, Inc.) and producer Jonas Rivera ( Up), the inventive new film will take you to a place that everyone knows, but no one has ever seen: the world inside the human mind.”
