Pierre Lambert's New Book Looks At The Art Of Snow White

Pierre Lambert's new book BLANCHE NEIGE (SNOW WHITE) delves into the art behind Disney's SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS. It serves as a showcase for story sketches, inspirational paintings, rough and finished animation drawings, cels and background paintings drawn from the Walt Disney Animation Research Library and private collections around the world, including many never-before-published images. In addition to hundreds of full-color photos, this deluxe hardcover book with slipcase features varnished illustrations and a beautiful sericel of Snow White at the well from Steve Ison's personal collection, one of the world's biggest collectors of original SNOW WHITE artwork. Only 3500 copies will be available, including 250 limited editions signed by the author and containing a foot of original 35mm film from SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS. Currently the book is only available in French, but may be well worth the cover price for non-French speakers based on the images alone. This book continues Lambert's outstanding line of Disney themed texts that have included PINOCCHIO and Mickey Mouse. He has also written a book that celebrates the artwork of Tex Avery. The book is priced at FR975 (US$139).

Collectors can buy the book online.
