PGA Crowns ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ Producers

Sony Pictures Animation’s hit superhero movie continues to rack up accolades as Avi Arad, Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, Amy Pascal and Christina Steinberg are honored for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures at the 2019 PGA Awards.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced this year’s winning film, television and new media productions at their 30th Annual Producers Guild Awards ceremony held Saturday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Avi Arad, Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, Amy Pascal and Christina Steinberg took home the award for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures for their work on Sony Pictures Animation’s comic book superhero action adventure, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

In addition to its competitive awards, the PGA presented special honors to Toby Emmerich with the Milestone Award; Kevin Feige with the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures; Amy Sherman-Palladino with the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television; Kenya Barris with the Visionary Award; and Jane Fonda with the Stanley Kramer Award.
