Pepper’s Ghost Signs French Video Deal for Tiny Planets

British independent production company Peppers Ghost has signed a distribution deal with UFG, one of Frances leading video labels, to release TINY PLANETS. The show has been screening on Canal Plus and The Disney Channel since last September. The deal, which was negotiated by Genevieve Dexter in her role as TINY PLANETS international licensing coordinator, covers all of French-speaking Europe.

TINY PLANETS follows Bing and Bong travel through the universe on their furry white sofa, solving problems and learning.

Peppers Ghost managing director Paul Michael said the video deal will serve as a springboard for a TINY PLANETS licensing program in France. VIP, which is Frances largest independent licensing agency, has already been appointed as merchandising and publishing agents.

Michael said, "France is the latest European territory after the U.K., Germany and Italy to launch a merchandising program. We are delighted that we now have these four major territories locked in."

Peppers Ghost Prods. is a character-based creative properties company. The company actively seeks and developed international properties with partners. It was also the producers of PG Studio, an acclaimed production management tool for the animation industry. For more information, visit www.peppersghost.com.
