Davide Rosio from Movimenti Prod. in Italy, is the winner of the Cartoons On The Bay Pitch Me! Event. He picked up his prize for pitching PENNARELLI, the project he directed with Giorgio Scorza and Davide Beltramini at the festival show on Friday, April 20, 2007, at the Augusteo Theatre.
The Pitch Me! event is for cartoonists, scriptwriters, studios, independent producers and anyone else who wants to launch a new Italian animation project.
Orlando-based SellYourTvConceptNOW.com, founded by entertainment veterans Mark and Jeanne Simon, was the sponsor of the Cartoons On The Bay Pitch Me! event. They awarded Rosio, and his co-directors, their Producer TV Pitch Program, valued at $2,850.
This program contains everything the winner needs to develop, pitch and sell their animated content, from consultation to samples worth more than $170,000, templates, forms, contacts, a 12 CD audio training set and more.
Members of the Pitch Me! jury were Annita Romanelli (Rai Fiction, Italy), Michaela Haberlander (FilmFemsehFonds Bayern, Germany) and Guido Manuli (Animation Director, Italy).
