Bring on the complex carbs! Pastacolypse, a new animated feature from Aqua Teen Hunger Force co-creator Matthew Maiellaro and Fox Entertainment-owned animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, is now available exclusively on Tubi.
Billed as a father-daughter horror-comedy, the film follows a billionaire celebrity chef Alfredo Manicotti who seeks revenge on all mankind after gluten is banned worldwide. In the process, Alfredo is disfigured into a hideous creature – half-man, half-macaroni – and leads a pasta uprising that threatens humanity. In the end, it’s up to his spoiled heiress daughter, the angel-haired Emma Manicotti, to make the ultimate sacrifice and save the world from the titular pastacolypse.
The feature stars Dana Snyder as Alfredo Manicotti (Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Squidbillies), Lauren Holt as Emma (Saturday Night Live), William Sanderson as Al Dente Bob (Deadwood, Blade Runner) and Lavell Crawford as Chub (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul).
Pastacolypse hits Tubi alongside Millennial Hunter and Big Bruh, joining Bob’s Burgers, Duncanville, The Great North and Housebroken under the Fox banner.
