Parsons Launches Website Featuring Top Student Design Work

NEW YORK—Parsons The New School for Design has launched Thesis Work, a new website featuring top student work from across its art and design programs. The site gives visitors a glimpse into the range of projects created at Parsons from undergraduate and graduate students in architecture, communication design, design and technology, fashion design, fine arts, illustration, integrated design, interior design, lighting design, photography, and product design.

The site features over fifty outstanding student thesis works, including:

  • Three projectshighlighted in the January issue of Wallpaper magazine: awomenswear collection by BFA Fashion Design graduate Brian Suter-Maury; acutlery set for people with Alzheimer's disease by BFA Product Designgraduate Neelima Narayanan; and a photograph by MFA Photography graduateJun Ahn;
  • Coco, by Product Designgraduate Gabriella Ravassa, a redesign of the standard container used bycoffee pickers in developing nations, which was featured on FastCompany' s Co.Design blog;
  • Uncommon Creatures, a retail installationby MFA Interior Design graduate Anne-Mette Krolmark, which was featured inthe November/December issue of Frame magazine; and
  • Typography Insight, an iPad app developedby MFA Design and Technology graduate Dong Yoon Park, now on sale in theiTunes store.
