Paramount Drops New ‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ Trailer

He’s big and red and hitting the streets of NYC; CGI/live-action hybrid production arrives November 10 in theaters and on Paramount+.

Paramount Pictures has just dropped a trailer and new poster for its upcoming film starring everybody’s favorite canine giant, Clifford the Big Red Dog. Based on the popular American children’s book series by Norman Bridwell, the CGI/live-action hybrid production introduces audiences to a CG pup and his adventures on the streets of NYC. Originally scheduled for a September theatrical release, the big, red…and adorable dog is now set to take the city by storm when it hits theaters and Paramount+ November 10.

In the film, when middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant 10-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

The movie stars Whitehall; Camp; Tony Hale; Sienna Guillory; David Alan Grier; Russell Wong; and Cleese; it’s produced by Paramount Pictures in association with eOne Films and New Republic Pictures - A Scholastic Entertainment/Kerner Entertainment Company Production. The film is directed by Walt Becker, with the screenplay by Jay Scherick, David Ronn, and Blaise Hemingway. The screen story is by Justin Malen and Ellen Rapoport. Jordan Kerner, p.g.a. and Iole Lucchese serve as producers with Brian Oliver; Bradley J. Fischer; Valerii An; Brian Bell; Caitlin Friedman; Deborah Forte; and Lisa Crnic serve as executive producers.
