The Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Productions 3DCG flick featuring the iconic green shelled bros will now hit theaters August 2 instead of August 4.
Following the release of several exciting new posters, Paramount has bumped up the release date of its upcoming animated feature Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem from August 4 to August 2.
The news follows the studio’s delay of Paramount Animation’s Transformers One.
Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Productions team for the upcoming 3DCG flick that follows the iconic green shelled brothers as they set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and gain acceptance through heroic acts.
Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when they must confront an army of mutants.
Jeff Rowe directs from a script written by Brendan O’Brian, based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. Kyler Spears serves as co-director.
The cast includes Micah Abbey; Shamon Brown Jr.; Hannibal Buress; Rose Byrne; Nicolas Cantu; John Cena; Jackie Chan; Ice Cube; Natasia Demetriou; Ayo Edebiri; Giancarlo Esposito; Post Malone; Brady Noon; Rogen; Paul Rudd; and Maya Rudolph.
Award-winning animation studio Mikros Animation produced the 3DCG animation. Point Grey Production’s Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver produce. Ramsay McBean and Josh Fagen serve as executive producers.
