Miranda Otto (LORD OF THE RINGS) has been tapped to star in FOX's LOCKE & KEY, reports Deadline.com. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are producing the project based on Joe Hill's graphic novel.
Otto will play Nina Locke, who with her three children, tries to move on from a tragedy by relocating to a mysterious family home in Massachusetts where magical keys open up portals to other worlds.
Josh Friedman (TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES) penned the pilot script. Mark Romanek (NEVER LET ME GO) is in talks to direct.
DreamWorks TV is also producing.
